Visualizing Physiotherapy Progress

Integrating video and real-time data visualization to empower physiotherapists with precise patient insights.

Overview

At Kinvent, physiotherapists lacked a seamless way to correlate real-time sensor data from physical exercises with visual observations. Existing workflows involved manually recording patient sessions and separately reviewing sensor data, which was inefficient and error-prone, limiting accurate patient assessment.

Goal

We aimed to integrate video capture directly with Kinvent's hardware devices, enabling physiotherapists to easily visualize patient movements alongside precise sensor data, accurately assessing rehabilitation progress in real-time.

Scope

Guerrilla user research, low-fidelity prototypes, high-fidelity UI designs, synchronized video & data visualization, WCAG accessibility guidelines, user testing and validation, comprehensive data visualization guide.
